Welcome to Giggles and Girlfriends Retreats...we are here to ensure that you get time away with your friends, family and girlfriends in a crafty atmosphere.  We welcome all types of crafters to retreat, however we specialize in Scrapbooking and Quilting.

Cost and What's Included: 

Pricing for 2014 is:  (Please note 2014 Registrations are now being taken with a $75 deposit)
2014 Dates that are confirmed are posted on the events page and registrations are being taken with your $75 deposit. All 2014 prices are listed under the dated event as each facility is different, costs vary depending on where we are going.

Your registration includes:

- A 6-8 ft Table working space in the work rooms for your projects.  At HEHOHA it's a 8 Foot Table!!!

-Saturday night theme night activities.
-Door prize Give-a-ways!

  • two (or three) nights accommodations based on registration
  • Camp HeHoHa is double occupancy rooms with two beds or triple rooms with a shared bed (double) or bunk bed with Double bed. Cots are available upon request and at an additional cost to share with larger #'s. These lovely rooms are hotel style rooms.  Each room has its own private bathroom with shower. Bed Linens included.

How do I pay my fee's
1.  Submit your registration online using the links above.
2.  A $75 Deposit per person is due to secure your spot for any retreat including those that are 90+ days away.  This Deposit is not refundable and non transferable.  If registering within the 90 days prior to retreat your deposit will be 50% of the costs of your registration (ex: $220 fee would be a $110 deposit if registering within the 90 day window).
3.  A $90 second installment payment (2nd Payment) is due 90 days prior to the retreat start date.  This payment is not refundable or transferable.
4.  Your final balance amount (depending on whether you've signed up for 3 or 4 days) is due 30 days prior to retreat. This payment is not refundable nor transferable.
5.  All late payments are subject to a late fee of $75/late transaction at the 14, 21 and 28 day late markers and/or cancellation/withdrawal of your spot in the retreat.  Registration will be forfeited if late fee payment fees are not paid. Please note that all payments made will be applied to late fee's first and then balance paid towards fees.
6.  NSF cheques will forfeit your spot and any payments made prior, no exceptions.  NSF Cheques will be charged a $75 handling fee to reinstate your spot and future payments will be required by paypal, interac or cash only, no exceptions.
7. All Cheques are to be written out to "Rhonda Duncan" and mailed to my home (email for address). If paying by Cheque, ensure you leave enough time for the mail to be delivered and the cheque to clear the bank, as late fees will be added if your payment arrives late.  (Sending post dated cheques is permitted and highly encouraged to avoid any delays with the postal service and to avoid paypal fees.)

Who's the Hostess?

  • Rhonda is your hostess at the weekend retreats.  She can answer all your questions and ensure that your weekend is just what you needed.
  • Rhonda has over 16+ years experience scrapbooking.  Over 7 years of Quilting, over 25 years of seamstress and doll making and some minor beading experiences. 
  • Feel free to bring out your passion and share with others.
  • Rhonda works full time and organizes retreats for a part time business, in between raising 4 great kids, a loving husband and numerous volunteer committments.  Rhonda has a huge passion for Charities and often does events to raise dollars for Breast Cancer Research, Make-a-Wish foundation and the Stollery Children's Hospital.   Rhonda is a registered and trained First Aider in case of any emergencies.
